Edges finished in blue poly thread

and set up our thickener for painting with dyes

Make sure the fabric item is not too heavy a material so that it will dry in time to expose during class

Primaries Painting + Silkscreen Textile Wall Art 8" x 8" cowl neck I have sewn each pieceA piece of Better Than Jam fabric is adhered to a 8" x 8" birch panel frame. The fabric is first coated in a UV light protectant, then meticulously hand painted with acrylic paints in tiny detail adding extra pattern and color. A final gloss coating is applied to protect the details, and a wire cord is added to the back for hanging.
