Rate of Climb / Vertical Airspeed Indicator Pioneer 1625-1Q-C1 TBM Avenger but we have found itHere is a WW2 vintage Rate of Climb (Vertical Airspeed) Indicator, made by Pioneer, similar to those used in the US Navy's PBY 5A Catalina. It was for aircraft with shallow slow climb descent speed i. e. maximum 2000 ft minute. The pointer is calibrated by turning the screw in the lower left corner. The inside of the glass could use some cleaning. Measures 3. 25 inches diameter and 4 inches deep.
