I love grandeur and places that lift your spirit up and let it soar

they are translucent and clean with lots of contrast and interest while the bright blue sky has that big expansive energy that wide open spaces hold even if there are artifacts like mountains occupying some of it

Hwy 30 between Portland Oregon and Astoria is an amzing drive and this is one of those eye candy places that has been calling me to stop and paint it

This Dog is all color and light and has that great spirit that its breed is known for:)
