Antique Alsace Kelsch Bedcover Navy Blue Check Fabric quilts 32m wide x 2This antique bedcover comes from the Alsace region of France, the weave is know as 'kelsch', it is woven from linen. The front of the textile is a traditional check design and the back is a plain natural rustic linen. Both sides are in excellent unused condition. Cover size : 1. 5m wide (59inches ) x 1. 56m long (61inches). The cover is open at one end and closes with ties. The initials AM have been embroidered on the back of the cover. Originally
