The design is original work created by Rafayel Rodriguez. It took inspiration from the traditional Okinawan art and the signature Hello Sushi style by Kanagi Design. There is a nice swirled surface on the top side. This is to help protect against scratching by knives. The design is infused on the bottom of the cutting board
