At the front of the building is a boiler, which can be reached by the workers through a filigreed scaffolding. On the backside there are 4 tanks for the storage of the lacquer supply and the old lacquers, which are connected directly with the building by finely simulated pipes. An elaborate ventilation system on the roof is used to ventilate the partially aged model.
