2023 Ivy & Warren Chardonnay | Saunders Parcelle ‘Haut’, VQA Beamsville Bench Chardonnay Français à venirWe selected the Saunders Haut parcel in 2013 2014. Then we looked at another block just above it called Saunders South. And we also made wines from a block below it called Saunders Bas, which is adjacent to our Pinot Noir parcel. But more on that later! The 2023 vintage gave us a focused nose and a mellow kind of green plum, citrus fruited, briny character, along with tight thiol derived fruit and savoury mineral notes through the rich mid palate.
