it had closed for around 23 years from 1914 onwards following a fire

Palate: Rich with a soft caramel and toffee, some chocolate coated Dates, soft ripe plumbs and spiced fruit cake. A slight sweet smoke note come in toward the finish, with spics and more dark rich fruits and a little dry edge its a superb balance of flavours.
